Accra Hearts of Oak SC held West African Football Academy to a (4-0) victory at home in the second leg of the NC Special Competition to go the table of Zone B at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Phobians dominated the game in both halves of the game to extent that WAFA’s game plan was shuttered. Michelle Sarpong made the opening scoring with Fatawu Mohammed adding up to the Phobians advantage with his second goal.
Manaf Umar made a strike to score the third goal for the home team through a defensive error from the WAFA goalkeeper. Later in additional time, Kofi Kodzi (who came on as a substitute) dribble pass the visitors defense to score the fourth goal to win revenge of the Sogakope based team in a (3-2) over them in the reverse leg.
Hearts are on top the their table with eighteen points with Karela United and WAFA chasing behind.
