Frank Lampard applauds England U17 team on World Cup Triumph

Former England Assistant Captain and Chelsea FC legend, Frank Lamprad has paid compliments and applauds to the English U17 team which made a historic achievement of winning the just ended FIFA U17 World Cup hosted in India.

Lampard argued that the team deserves this remarkable achievement. In a Facebook post, he added that, great talents are coming through to perphaps chair the football success of England.

The “Young Lions” as he described them lifed the trophy for the firt time ever in a 5-2 win of comeback against European neighbours. This victory secures Englands third major youth trophy after winning the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup and the Euro U19 Championship.

Meamwhile Marc Guehi, a defender among the five Chelsea Academy players membered in the team says that it was no revenge against Spain after losing the Euro U17 Championship to them before the Worls Cup campaign but rather a dream come true for him in particular.
