The Local organizing committee (LOC) of the 2018 Africa Women’s Championship will start inspection of venues for the competition today.
The committee which is led by Hon Freda Prempeh will visit the two stadia selected for the tournament which takes place in November 2018.
The Cape Coast and Babayara Sports stadia is reported to be the two venues selected for the competition.
Ghana was handed the rights by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) to host next year’s competition.
The inspection team from CAF are also expected to arrive on Saturday to observe the progress of Ghana’s preparation.
This will be the first time the country will be hosting Africa’s feminine flagship event despite making 11 appearances in the competition.
